Term to identify a customer request
I'm looking for a word that will be used in a field service software to wrap a customer request with its work list, interventions, invoices, quotes, etc.
It can have :
- A reference number
- A due date
- a list of customer's requests (work list + products)
- a list of things to do
- a list of quotes and invoices, etc.
- a state like opened, closed, canceled
I was thinking about :
- Case
- Affair
- Business
Example sentences :
- "I will need to create a new [case] for this customer"
- "Can you give me the reference number of this [case] ?"
- "Here is the list of every customer's [cases]"

Other possibilities are work order and service request. If you were thinking about case, affair, and business (you seem to prefer case to the other two), what is it about them that caused you to rule them out?

Have you considered the word ticket?

Isn't ticket related to support requests rather than business request?

@YohanD In your question, you use the term customer request. How is that different than support request? I'm also not certain I understand what you mean by business request, if you consider it to describe something different.

@YohanD In your question, you use the term customer request. How is that different than support request? I'm also not certain I understand what you mean by business request, if you consider it to describe something different.
