Can Linux and/or Unix operating systems be booted from logical volumes inside of an LVM partition?
Can they reside together in the same volume group, i.e., multiple Linux and BSD distros, each in their own logical volume?
Machine specs
• BIOS/GPT scheme
• One BIOS boot partition of type BIOS boot
• One LVM partition of type Linux LVM
• Grub2 bootloader
linux grub2 lvm bsd
