Does the word “Device” imply reusable equipment? [on hold]
The term "explosive device" annoys me beyond belief.
Why an object that self destructs upon use considered as a device?
Would this be applicable to everything else such as calling the bullet a "projectile device" or calling your food "nourishment device"?
Shouldn't the word Device be applicable to reusable equipment or something that does not loses its form upon use

no, the word device does not explicitly or implicitly include reusability. I'm afraid you'll have to either get over your annoyance or suffer needlessly.

A "device" can refer to anything that is "devised", and it doesn't matter wether it can be used again. Examples: an "implantable medical device" can't typically be re-used; a multi-stage rocket is certainly a "device" but loses it form upon use (though in a controlled way). Your assumption in this case is incorrect.

Nuclear devices can only be used once, unless you know how to stuff all those neutrons back in.
