Conversation between 2 persons
A: "I was troubled by what we have been doing"
B: "I get it,we have been all troubled"
how should I understand the first statement? Why past simple? He was troubled in the past by something and now he is not troubled by the same thing ?Maybe if he said "I was troubled first but now I am not troubled by what we have been doing" or using present perfect as person B "I have been troubled by what we have been doing"
Can you provide other past simple+present perfect sentences?
past-tense present-tense perfect-aspect

The problem here is that "I was troubled by what we have been doing" is not past simple; it's simply mistaken. Beyond that if you can't find a site dealing with composition as such, could you take the same Question somewhere such as English Language Learners?
