Inter-module communication

0

I have two separate modules , A and B which can work independently of one another. Now my new client wanted a system which need both modules A and B , but the problem is that some methods of module B need to be executed when some methods in module A are executed. Module A contains an interface IA which is

public interface IA
{
void run();
}

A concrete class implementing the above interface

public class A
{
public void run()
{
//some codes
}
}

Module B contains an interface IB which is

public interface IB
{
void run();
}

A concrete class implementing the above interface

public class B
{
public void run()
{
//some codes
}
}

Now what I need is when run() method is called in class A , run() method needs to be called in method B too. For this what I am trying is to write another class which implements IA interface

public class Mediator:IA
{
private IB _b;
public Mediator(IB b)
{
_b=b;
}
public void run()
{
moduleA.Factory.getServiceImplementingIAInModuleA().run();
_b.run();
}
}

For this, I made a factory method in module A to return actual implementation for IA in module A .
Is this a good approach? If not, can you please suggest me a better approach?
