no updates shown when you try to update? or error message when you try to update? or you are expecting an update notification to appear, but no update notification appears? which problem are you having (if multiple problems apply, presumably you are asking about the most severe problem first).

when you edit the question, the system will be place it in a review queue for people to look at and re-open it. (There is a similar queue that gets triggered as soon as one person votes to close a question, which is part of why we're able to close them so quickly. So in theory they can be re-opened just as quickly, once you have included the appropriate details in a question. Still better if you can give specific error messages or etc. when you first ask though :-).

There are lots of different Linux. We don't have a specific tag for BOSS Linux - I don't think we have many users of it here. We might be able to guess based on common Linux technologies used by BOSS - but this means we really need more question detail and time before anyone will look at it. It's not like a BOSS-specific forum, where this might be one of a few well-known problems that people would already be familiar with.
