Domestication and Foreignization and its relation with formal equivalence and dynamic equivalence

0

I hope this is the right place to ask regarding this matter as currently I have interest in Translation Studies.

I just want to know what kind of relationship that "domestication and foreignization" have with "formal equivalence and dynamic equivalence". So far, what can I guess is that domestication and foreignization is a strategy in translation while formal or dynamic equivalence might be the method taken to do either domestication or foreignization?

is that already correct? My knowledge in this field is still very shallow...

  • Sorry, Husain, and as it is your Question makes too little sense in English. Can you re-phrase it at least two ways?
