How to display which file differs from the others

3

I'm trying to write a script to get info from 5 different places and compare them for differences. The information is simply IP addresses and I have them placed in text files. I'm using:

diff --from-file file1 file2 file3 file4 file5

to compare them and it works, but I need to display which file contains different information. I expect only one or at most two files not to match.

If you change the diff format to unified with -u the filenames will appear.

Another solution might be to run a checksum program, e.g. md5sum, sha1sum, etc. on all files and see which one has a different checksum than the first one.
